As you can see, Mr. Badley and Mr. Pienta are very excited about our new science equipment, acquired through the generosity of donors.  Among other items, we acquired a 10 liter Dewar flask for storing liquid nitrogen, bunsen burner set ups, alcohol lamps, a model kit for molecules, and a Van de Graaff generator.

Mr. Badley explains the last item: “Van de Graaff generators are a tool for demonstrating physics phenomena.  In addition to the well-known trick of standing people’s hair on end, they can show electric wind and other electrostatic effects.”
